Introduction thread
02/19/09 at 02:57:16

Hello, I've just registered here and wanted to find an introduction thread to make myself known.  Only to find that this site is new, cool!

I'm Batty, from South Wales, UK, I have three children which makes it near difficult to read as much as I like, though the oldest two are now more independant I've started to read again.

My main point of interest are reading, cross stitching, writing and horse riding.  Being overweight the only way I can get near a horse is to have my sons go for riding lessons!  I'm hoping that I'll see the benefits of losing weight so that I can join them for a hike on horseback.

My favourite author has always been James Herbert and Dean Koontz though I do read by other authors.

I look forward to sticking around and see this site grow.

Batty

HI I'm Heather aka Sharpquilter on a number of forums including bookcrossing.com.  I am also a blogger, mainly books but also needlework on Tuesdays and recipes on Thursdays.  http://conestogo.blogspot.com

I live a few km away from the store and find their online catalogue very handy, infact way too handy at times.  but sitting in my pjs ordering books to pick up later is awesome.
